Marsh Harrier (Circus aeruginosa)

Marsh harriers were once an extremely rare bird in the UK, thanks to conservation efforts by the RSPB and other wildlife trusts they are now making a slow come back across Britain, In 2016 Marsh Harriers bred for the first time in  Oxfordshire in over a hundred years at the RSPB Otmoor reserve. Its fantastic to see these birds in slow characteristic flight over the reed beds  once more.
