Scottish Winter wildlife

One of my most popular destinations, photo tuition days in The Cairngorms in winter can be tailor made for your skill set and are aimed at helping you get the best shots you can of some of the superb Scottish winter wildlife. These include Mountain hare, Red deer, Crested tit, Ptarmigan and red squirrel . Based near Aviemore we can also help you with accommodation. Prices start at £250 per day.

This year 2022 we are all "back to normal" with our latest trips working out perfectly with some fantastic days on the mountain and some wonderful wildlife encounters! 

​

We will be pleased to take you to see the iconic species above, in some fantastic locations. Mountain hares and Ptarmigan require some physical fitness to actually get close to these species in their mountain habitat. Other species such as the red squirrels, crested tit and red deer are more easily accessible and we can help accommodate if you are disabled or have limited walking capabilities. All ranges of photography experience are catered for  if you are a professional or have just bought your first digital camera we can help you get the best from your equipment. Non photographers / partners are also welcome!

We usually have some availability in a very comfortable and well equipped cosy cottage where you can stay with us on a self catering basis. (With excellent pub food available close by!)
