Crested tit (Lophophanes cristatus). This charning little bird is a native of the Scottish Caledonian pine forest in the Uk and is limited in range. Typically found (in the UK) only in the Scottish highlands especially the Abernethy forest. These are a charismatic subject and a highlight that I love to show you on my Scottish winter wildlife guided trips.
