Peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus). In Spring the peregrines are highly visible as the male tercel displays to the female falcon. By Late June the peregrine falcon chicks are fully fledged and able to begin hunting sorties to hone their skills. I enjoyed watching the young falcon harassing the gulls causing them to crash dive into the river in panic.
