Bluethroat. ( Luscinia svecica). A rare visitor to the Uk, usually found on passage migration the red spotted bluethroat is a difficult bird to find and photograph. One of those birds that when you find out one is showing well, you just have to drop everything and go and see before it disappears back to some secret european reed bed and anonimity! This first winter male was photographed at willow tree fen, Lincolnshire, Feb 2017.
